When you should do this
You can do this exercise every day or you can alternative this workout with the health walking or with the fat burning walk.
Benefits of the aerobic walk
This exercise will increase your lung capacity and power. That means you will breath more easily and your lungs will be in a better shape.(this is specially recommend for smokers.).Also this exercise will increase the number of blood vessels in the muscle and improve the blood circulations.
When you exercise following this workout you 50 percent of the necessary energy comes by burning fat, 49% are carbohydrates and small amount of proteins; around 1%;
The aerobic walk exercise
1. Start by warming up by slow walking for five to ten minutes.
2. After the warm up get away from the treadmill and stretch for 5 minutes. This exercise will prevent injuries and things like tight calves.
3.After stretching get on treadmill again and walk at a pace that will increase your heart rate at 70-80% of your maximum heart rate. The rhythm is pretty intense so be prepared for breathing hard. Continue to walk in this rhythm for around 40 mines.
4.After those 40 minutes cool down walking for 5 minutes at easy pace.
In the end is recommended to do some stretching and flexibility exercises.
